Welcome to QuoteMe. QuoteMe is a reverse-auction based quote comparison platform that connects consumers with service providers. We operate as an intermediary platform, facilitating the process of requesting and receiving competitive quotes for various services. By accessing or using our platform at quoteme.website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use QuoteMe, you must be at least 13 years of age. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Users under the age of 18 should use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Account creation is available through the following methods:

• Google OAuth (sign in with your Google account)
• Kakao OAuth (sign in with your Kakao account)
• Email registration (sign up with email and password)

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Service Terms

QuoteMe is free for consumers to use. There are no fees charged to consumers for submitting service requests or receiving quotes from providers. Service costs for any work performed are paid directly to the service provider you choose, and QuoteMe does not process or handle those payments.

For service providers, QuoteMe's fee structure (including credit fees, connection fees, and other charges) may change over time. Material changes to the fee structure will be communicated to providers with at least 30 days' advance notice. For details, please refer to the Provider Terms of Service.

4. Service Categories

QuoteMe currently supports the following service categories:

• Moving: local and long-distance residential and commercial moving services.
• Home Services: cleaning, handyman services, and other home maintenance services.

We plan to expand our service categories over time. New categories will be announced on the platform as they become available. The availability of service providers may vary by location.

5. User Obligations

When using QuoteMe, you agree to the following obligations:

• Accurate information: you must provide truthful and accurate information in your service requests, account profile, and all communications on the platform.
• No fraudulent use: you must not use the platform for any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal purposes, including submitting fake service requests or providing misleading information.
• Respect for others: you must not harass, abuse, or threaten other users, whether consumers or service providers.
• No unauthorized access: you must not use another person's account or personal information without their explicit authorization. Unauthorized use of others' information is strictly prohibited.
• Compliance with laws: you must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws when using the platform.

6. Platform Role and Disclaimer

QuoteMe operates as an intermediary platform that connects consumers with service providers. We facilitate the exchange of service requests and quotes, but we do not directly provide any of the services listed on the platform. As such, QuoteMe does not bear direct responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, or timeliness of services performed by providers.

Any disputes arising between service providers and consumers, including but not limited to disagreements over pricing, service quality, scheduling, or scope of work, are to be resolved directly between the parties involved. QuoteMe may, at its discretion, assist in facilitating dispute resolution but is not obligated to do so.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Intellectual Property

The QuoteMe brand, name, logo, and all associated visual elements, designs, and content displayed on the platform are the exclusive property of QuoteMe and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. This includes, but is not limited to, trademarks, copyrights, and trade dress.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the platform without prior written consent from QuoteMe. Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

8. Account Management

QuoteMe reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account under the following conditions:

• Violation of these Terms of Service.
• Engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities on the platform.
• Providing false or misleading information in your account profile or service requests.
• Repeated complaints from other users regarding your conduct.
• Extended period of inactivity (accounts inactive for more than 24 months may be subject to deletion).

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

QuoteMe reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and notify users through platform notifications or email. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
